Who Can Use Glialis

Age & Legal Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old to use Glialis. By creating an account or using the app, you confirm that:

• You are 18 or older
• You have the legal authority to enter into this agreement
• You comply with all laws in your jurisdiction
• You're not on any U.S. government sanctions list

Your Account

When you create a Glialis account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete information
• Keep your password confidential
• Not share your account with others
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access

Subscriptions & Billing

How Subscriptions Work

Glialis offers subscription plans through the App Store or Google Play. When you subscribe:

• Billing is handled by Apple or Google, not by Glialis
• You authorize recurring charges at the start of each billing period
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You can cancel anytime through your device's subscription settings

Free Trials

If you sign up for a free trial, your subscription will automatically renew at the regular price unless you cancel before the trial ends. It's your responsibility to cancel before being charged.

Refunds & Cancellation

Contact Apple or Google directly to request refunds or manage subscriptions. Glialis cannot process refunds or cancellations. Once deleted, subscription access ends, and you won't receive refunds for unused time.

Your Data & Content Rights

What You Own

You retain full ownership of all your content, including:

• Food logs and meal data
• Training logs and workout history
• Progress photos and body metrics
• Any notes or personal data you enter

You can download, export, or delete your data at any time.

What Rights You Grant Us

When you use Glialis, you grant us permission to:

• Store your data on secure servers
• Use your data to provide and improve Glialis
• Analyze your data to enhance features (anonymized)
• Process food photos through our AI for detection (deleted within 7 days)

We do not sell or share your personal data for marketing. We do not use your data to train other products.

Food Photos

Food photos are processed by our AI for detection only, then permanently deleted within 7 days. We do not store, archive, or use your photos for any other purpose.

Public Sharing (Optional)

If you choose to share your progress publicly through Glialis, you grant us the right to display and promote that content. You can make progress private or delete shared content anytime.

Health & Safety

When to Consult a Doctor

Stop using Glialis and consult a healthcare professional if you:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Have or suspect an eating disorder
• Have a medical condition related to nutrition or metabolism
• Take medications that affect diet or exercise
• Experience dizziness, chest pain, or unusual symptoms during exercise

Food Allergies & Safety

While we try to note common allergies, we cannot guarantee complete ingredient information. You are solely responsible for verifying food contents before consumption. Always check product labels for allergens.

Exercise Risks

Exercise carries inherent physical risks. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with using Glialis and any fitness activities. We recommend consulting a trainer before starting a new workout program.

AI Food Detection

How It Works

Glialis uses artificial intelligence to identify foods from photos. The AI provides recommendations, but:

• AI detection is not 100% accurate
• You should verify identifications before logging
• Different lighting, angles, and photo quality affect accuracy
• You can manually correct or adjust any suggestions

Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of:

• Food identifications and portion sizes
• Macro calculations and nutritional data
• Any AI-generated recommendations

Always review data before relying on it for health or fitness decisions.

Data Processing

Food photos are sent to our AI processing service, analyzed, then permanently deleted within 7 days. Photos are never used to train new AI models or shared with third parties.

What You Can't Do

You agree not to use Glialis to:

Violate Laws

Use the app for any illegal, unlawful, or fraudulent purpose

Reverse Engineer

Decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or extract code from Glialis

Scrape or Harvest

Automatically collect data, use bots, or extract content without permission

Share Credentials

Give your login to others or allow them to use your account

Harm Others

Upload malware, harassing content, or anything that violates others' rights

Interfere with Service

Disrupt servers, overwhelm infrastructure, or attempt unauthorized access

Limitation of Liability

Disclaimers

Glialis is provided "as-is" without warranties. We make no guarantees about:

• Accuracy of food identifications or nutritional data
• Reliability or uptime of the service
• Absence of errors, bugs, or security vulnerabilities
• Fitness for any particular purpose

Our Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glialis is not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Lost data, profits, or business interruption
• Health issues resulting from using Glialis
• Damage to your device or loss of data

Your Responsibility

You use Glialis at your own risk. You agree to indemnify (protect) us from claims or damages arising from your:

• Violation of these terms
• Use of Glialis
• Infringement of others' rights
• Health or fitness decisions

Changes & Termination

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. We'll notify you of material changes via email or in-app. Your continued use of Glialis means you accept the updated terms.

Changes to Glialis

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue Glialis or any feature at any time. We have no obligation to notify you in advance or provide compensation.

Termination

We can terminate your access to Glialis if you:

• Violate these terms
• Use Glialis unlawfully
• Engage in prohibited activities

Termination can happen immediately without prior notice. You can delete your account anytime through the app settings.

What Happens When You Delete

When you delete your account:

• You immediately lose access to Glialis
• Your subscription does NOT auto-cancel (cancel via App Store/Google Play)
• Your data is retained per our Privacy Policy
• You can request deletion of all data via privacy@glialis.com

Intellectual Property

What We Own

Glialis, its code, design, trademarks, and all app content are owned by Glialis. You cannot copy, modify, or use these without permission.

What You Own

You retain all rights to your personal data and content. We have permission to use your data only as described in this agreement and our Privacy Policy.
